Steatite cup ploughed up on farm of Altnamain, Edderton. Bowl measures 4" diameter and 1 7/8" deep externally. The flat rectangular handle is placed midway between lip and base. Purchased for the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS).

No further information was found regarding this cup. Enquiries at Aultnamain Inn and farm and Tain were unsuccessful.
