A large steel-frame, corrugated iron structure surrounded by a number of smaller, similarly built structures. There are two slipways, the larger being flanked both sides by a side slip-way. Also of note is the set of 24-ton sheer-legs (NH64NE 128.02), at the time of Hume's writing, the last in Scotland.

J R Hume 1977.
