NG89SE 1 89 91.

An object of steatite, shaped like a shoe, with a large oval cavity on the top at one end, connected by a groove, or duct with a small circular indentation at the other, measuring 11 3/4 inches in length, 4 3/4 inches in greatest breadth, and 3 3/8 inches in height, was found at Mellon, Laide, Auchnasheen, Ross-shire.

The object was purchased by the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS) 1934.
