This house and enclosure have been recorded on oblique aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 2004) lying on the shore of the Kyle of Durness adjacent to the jetty (NC36NE 96). The house and an enclosure are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1878, Sheet V) and on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1991).
