NT82SW 310 from 8470 2033 to 8478 2021

Faint traces of cross-contour rig, measuring 450m from NNE to SSW by 400m, are visible over a moderately steep SW-facing slope of Fasset Hill. The rig, which lies immediately above the head-dyke, is barely discernible on the ground. Towards the upper end of the rig, there is a denuded cairn (NT82SW 20) which is perhaps the result of field clearance.
