ND39SE 13 3606 9058.

A possible settlement site located at the head of the bay known as The Pool, comprises an enclosure c.16 x 16m formed by a stony bank c.2m wide. A low mound c.10 x 8m and 0.5m high lies immediately adjacent to the W connected to the cliff edge by a narrow bank c.1.5m wide and 0.3m high. On the E side of the enclosure is as light angular bank. The site overlooks a terrace on the S.

The square enclosure recorded by Hunter (1983) is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Orkney and Shetland (Orkney) 1882, sheet cxxiii), but it is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1985).
