ND34SE 1 35208 43686.

ND 3524 4374. A mound, 14.2m in diameter and 0.4m high, amorphous and shapeless, which may be natural.

C E Batey 1981. WIC 194a.

This mound could be part of the rifle range that is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet 30).

(Undated) information in NMRS.

ND 35209 43686 This grass-grown mound, which measures 20.5m from E to W by 18m transversely and 0.5m in height, appears to be natural in origin; several rabbit scrapes on its surface reveal that it is composed entirely of peat.

(YARROWS04 601)

Visited by RCAHMS (JRS) 10 August 2004.
