Four groups of concrete mast bases are situated in rough ground to the N of the A 838 road at Leirinbeg.

The two groups nearest the road have four concrete tetrahedron shaped bases standing to about 1.5m high with the holes for the mast legs still extant on the top. Some wood remains in the holes suggesting that the masts were of this material.

The second two groups of mast bases are less prominent, but both have a small structure centrally positioned within the four blocks.

The two large masts are visible on RAF vertical air photographs (CPE/Scot/UK/185, 3159-62, flown 9 October1946) and only one of the second group is still standing on these images.
