The site of this quarry is marked by an area of heavily disturbed ground at the S end of a field of pasture, and lies immediately N of the farmstead ND34SW 334. The quarry, which measures about 20m across, is first depicted on the 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1907, sheet xxix).
