This E-shaped plan farmstead consists of a hay barn in the central range with a threshing barn behind and the site of a water wheel visible in the back (N) wall. There is a stable with a hay loft in the W range and a single-storeyed byre in the E range. On the N side there are partially open shelters either side of the barn. The buildings were derelict and partly ruinous on the date of survey and were in use only as a clipping shed and workshop space.
Visited by RCAHMS (GJD), July 1994 and 1995 ; see NMRS MS 744/104.
