Park Bridge: this balustraded bridge ornamentally links the policies of Leadervale (NT53NE 71.00) with those of Carolside (NT53NE 56.00).

C A Strang 1994.

This bridge apparently carries a road or track across the Leader Water to the S of Carolside House (NT53NE 56.00). The river here forms the boundary between the parishes of Earlston (to the N) and Melrose (to the S).

The location assigned to this record defines the centre of the structure. The available map evidence suggests that it extends from NT c. 56214 39790 to NT c. 56211 39753.

Information from RCAHMS (RJCM), 30 January 2006.
