Sherds of several pots of grey-brown ware from the Hardwood Nursery, Dunrobin are in Dunrobin Museum, probably received in 1880. (Accession no. 1880.7) (Information from TS of Catalogue of Dunrobin Museum, by A S Henshall, 1966).

The nursery at NC 842009 was used mainly for hardwood and shrubs in

1873 (Ordnance Survey Name Book [ONB] 1873).
