This courtyard farmstead has an imposing S facade and contains a carriage house and stables as well as working-horse stables, a byre, a threshing barn and workers' cottages. Detached buildings include a later hay shed, dog kennels, a sheepfold and a covered sheep dip. When visited, the buildings were in good order but were used only to handle sheep and store feed.

Visited by RCAHMS (GJD), July 1994; see NMRS MS 744/106.
