ND39SW 46.01 ND 34221 91181,34238 91161,34253 91139,34286 91056

Three concrete searchlight platforms are situated along the coastline to the N of the gun-emplacement (ND39SW 46.00), and the stone built fourth is about 10m E of the battery.

The three searchlight emplacements to the N have four slits in the front elevation and the entrances are on the N elevation.

Visited by RCAHMS, May 2000

All the searchlight platforms are of concrete, but local stone has been used for much of the superstructure. Most of the emplacements retain the steel doors, though now in a very rusty condition.
