Cropmarks have revealed several maculae in an arable field on the E side of a track leading to Fingask Castle (NO22NW 7.00), some 100m SE of the standing stone NO22NW 9. Most of the maculae form a cluster, the individual marks varying from 3m to 5m across, but there is also a crescent-shaped feature about 60m to the NNE.
