Excavation of a cable trench by SSEB on the S side of the railway bridge on Carberry Road revealed parts of at least two adult human skeletons. Only a few of the larger bones were recovered but it appears that one skeleton was articulated when found. There was no evidence for either a stone cist or wooden coffin, but the site had been severely disturbed by earlier service trenches. (cf. NT37SE 36.)
