NO 389 546 (centred on) A watching brief was undertaken in August 2010 during the removal of topsoil from the site of a new children’s play area and two signpost bases. The site was considered sensitive due to its proximity to three mounds, a scheduled standing stone, a scheduled cropmark enclosure and a now lost souterrain. No features or finds of archaeological significance were recorded.
