Walking the site: measured.
The first (1875)and second (1897) editions of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire and Buteshire, sheet xliii)both show a small roofed building and accompanying enclosure at this location. It is now reduced to a scattered number of stones but the rough outline of the building, probably a shed, and the enclosure can be made out. The area enclosed forms a slight depression. It is possible that a larger building once occupied the site.
