Situated on a glacial terrace on the N side of the River Meig are the footings of two substantial rectangular buildings that represent the remains of a probable farmstead, (NOSAS site survey numbers 787 and 788) and a sheepfold (786). A single unroofed building and the sheepfold are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire 1881, sheet lxxxvi).
