Small excavation in pound to E of house of Quoybanks has
revealed curvilinear walling immediately below surface and
extending to 0.5m deep. Other walling can be seen going under
the ground on its W side. NoSAS index NRO 31 J Hedges Sep 79
As described, wall irregular rather than curvilinear. Almost
certainly associated with the modest tell under the farmstead
of Quoybanks.
