The map sheet assigned to this record is essentially arbitrary. The Main is not noted as such on the 1996 edition of the OS 1:50,000 map.
The loss of this vessel may alternatively have occurred within the areas of map sheets NO41NE, NO42SE, NO52NW or NO52SW.
The classification cited in the primary account of the loss is not cited by Whittaker, but is accepted.
