Nothing is now visible of the milestone that formerly stood on the W verge of the main road between North Queensferry and Dunfermline, its site being destroyed by the cutting that now carries the B980 public road between North Queensferry and Rosyth. The stone, which is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Fife and Kinross 1856, sheet 39), noted the distance in miles to North Queensferry (2) and Dunfermline (4).

Visited by RCAHMS (JRS), 10 October 2010.
