Standing figure of George II in antique armour, weight on right foot, left foot forward; right hand forward holding baton or scroll; drapery behind base.

According to Malcolm Baker, in 'Proper Ornaments for a Library or Grotto: London Sculptors and Their Scottish Patrons in the C18th', in 'Virtue and Vision', James Hill was the supplier; John Cheerie the sculptor (1).
