In 1813 eight human skeletons laid along a trench were discovered during cultivation of a little green hill near Sueno's Stone (NJ05NW 1). A shred of a coarse tartan plaid and a fragment of a plain brass brooch were also turned up. The bones were at no great depth (Similar remains were found in 1823 - NJ05NW 5).

Anon 1813.
