This milestone was not found on the date of visit. It is depicted standing on the E verge of what is now of the A836 public road at Altnaharra Lodge on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherlandshire 1878, sheet LIII). It indicated the distance in miles to ‘ALTNAHARROW ½’ and ‘LAIRG 20½’.
