Keppoch House, c.1770 Improved tacksman's house built gable-on to the prevailing wind for Alexander Macdonald of Borrodale, later of Glenaladale (Alasdair an Oir), on his return from Jamaica. In 1796 it was the only building of substance at Arisaig, attended by a sizeable U-plan court of offices (now hidden in the trees) on the hill above.
