Donaldson's College, 2007, JM Architects

Scotland's national residential and day school providing education and care for pupils who are deaf or have severe speech and language difficulties. Far away from the grand institutional style and feel of the city original, the relaxed and low-set composition on the edge of town is a worthy successor for the facility previously based in Edinburgh.

Taken from "West Lothian: An Illustrated Architectural Guide", by Stuart Eydmann, Richard Jaques and Charles McKean, 2008. Published by the Rutland Press http://www.rias.org.uk
