KKilmarie House, 1870s Late Victorian shooting lodge in wooded policies near a religious site associated with St Maelrubha, at the mouth of the Kilmarie River. Built for Sir William Mackinnon, it was remodelled 1890s, for Robert Thomson (alias R.L.T. MacEwen), who bought Eigg and Muck as well as Strathaird around this time. Lower offices forming a U-plan
