Uiginish, 18th century Broad-gabled tacksman's house on a bleak headland facing Dunvegan Castle across Loch Follart. Farm buildings include a rare dovecote/ poultry house, 1843 -5, built by Thomas Clapperton. A pyramid-roofed tower with flight-holes rises from its top like a chimney; below, the henhouse is served by a small grate.
