Parish Church (North Church, Sauchen), 1789. On knoll opposite old kirkyard, an Improvement-period rectangle ('a plain old building') built to accommodate growth of local population. Four round-headed windows; east wall grey ashlar with cherry-cocking, rest granite rubble. Plain bellcote with Mowat bell. Neatly extended, 1983, with hall.
