NS 5350 7244 to NS 5400 7210 The published course (OS 50 inch 1961) resurveyed. At NS 5373 7235 a 4m length of the N kerb is exposed behind a garage. The 3m length of the exposed Wall at NS 5385 7223 is as described. Both portions surveyed at 1:1250.
The new line is based on the above evidence and the largely extant detail shown on the 1st edition of the OS 2 and a half inch map (Dunbartonshire 1863, sheet 23/12), with which it is in complete sympathy.
