NS 5000 7239 to NS 5014 7232 The published survey (OS 50 inch 1963) was revised. No trace across developed area. The line of the Ditch is shown on the 1st edition of the OS 2 and a half inch (Dunbartonshire 1862, sheet 23/11) and subsequent plans, and as late as 1957 a broad hollow some 25m wide and 0.5m deep was visible (Information from OS 1957). The course is distinct in RAF vertical aerial photograph (F22/ 58/ 2682, frame no 0094, 1959.) No trace of the Wall or Outer Mound was found.
