Situated on a gently-sloping SW-facing terrace on the E side of the valley and some 830m NW of Glenkilrie house, there are the remains of a Pitcarmick-type building. It measures 25.2m WNW-ESE by up to 7.1m overall and the slightly sunken ESE end appears to be overlain by the remains of a hut measuring 10.1m WNW-ESE by 6.2m over a turf-covered bank up to 1.3m thick. Both structures lie within a probably earlier field-system which comprises small cairns and stony banks (NO16SW 82), and a hut-circle lies some 110m to the SW.
