Below the steep rocky slope of St Blane’s Hill, just above the sycamore plantation, stands the ruin of a solitary single-celled building, probably of later medieval date and not previously recorded.

NS 0942 5255 Building remains: Located at foot of steep slope, below oak tree, just outside edge of sycamore plantation. There is some walling of a 1-celled building, 8 x 4m internal. Upper gable revetted up to 1m. On a moderate slope. Made up with some very large stones and courses of smaller stones. Confused by some fallen stone. There is a rectangular recessed platform immediately above upper gable.
