NT 87391 55064 A standing building survey and demolition watching brief was carried out on a derelict mansion house situated on the Whitehall Estate to the south of Chirnside. The building was constructed in the early 18th century and originally occupies a rectangular footprint, although it has been greatly modified, with six main phases of development identified.
