Alder Archaeology undertook an archaeological desk-based assessment and walkover survey on the site a proposed Golf Driving Range at Burleigh, Perth and Kinross, about 1 km SE of Milnathort, centred on NGR NO 13127 04172. 25 features were identified, including 8 within or on the boundary of the proposed development area. The most significant features are areas of rig and furrow in the W half of the site and a potential cursus monument located from cropmarks in the NW quarter of the site. Other features include 19th C stone boundary walls and former railway bridges.
