NT 05080 78567 An archaeological watching brief was carried out during groundbreaking works while upgrading an existing visitors car park at the House of The Binns. A garden wall possibly associated with a physic garden dating to the late C17th was recorded along with a spur off the old approach road to the house, this curved round the west side of the house leading to the north of the house towards the site of the former stables.
