NS 48213 64010 An archaeological watching brief was carried out by GUARD Archaeology Ltd at 22 High Street, Paisley, during ground-breaking works. The remains of the original 1880’s foundations were uncovered in a small portion of the basement. These consisted of two concrete foundations pads with iron column support plates and the degraded remains of brick wall footings. These remains were recorded and left in situ.
