Members of Orkney Sub Aqua Club dived the salvage site of Sms Bremse. Images provided by them to the Salvage Sites Phase 2 project (2019) illustrate a large area of non-descript wreckage surviving in the area of the mast (towards the north end of the wreck site). Away from this main area, a variety of large and small pieces of debris were scattered across the seabed, including large areas of decking, remains of the forward capstan winch, a small boiler, a lifeboat davit and the remains of an aft platform with a searchlight base unit. The searchlight platform also has what is likely to be a night speed indicator on its rear end.
