NJ 39158 63298 A watching brief was carried out at Tannachy Sands, Portgordon, Buckie. The requirement arose due to the potential impact on several archaeological sites. The development includes a total area of 13,721m² and consist of a 6m-wide pipeline trench and 1000m³ tank from Crisper Maltings facility to discharge in the North Sea approximately 1km to the N.

The watching brief was carried out over four non-consecutive days in August of 2022. During works, two features were identified, a modern pit with building material refuse and a red sandstone wall, oriented E/W.
