NN 73247 95910 A walkover survey was conducted, in December 2021, in advance of proposed afforestation on the Ralia estate, SE of Newtonmore. The proposed planting area, in three blocks, included a Wade road (Canmore ID: 138958) and former bridge sites (Canmore ID: 111884, 138960, 345976), abandoned townships (Canmore ID: 25208), and outlying farmsteads (Canmore ID: 358495, 358533) Mitigation is proposed for sites lying within the scheme; the impact on sites outwith the boundary was assessed as minimal or none.
