A broad scattering of pits has been recorded as cropmarking on oblique aerial photographs (HESAP 2022) across two fields to the E of Fisherhills farmstead. The majority are of geological origin but among these a number of well-defined pits, measuring about 3m in diameter, that may represent archaeological features.
