This enclosure is situated on a knoll 220m N of Newfarm steading (NY09NE 64). Roughly circular on plan, it measures about 35m in diameter within a ploughed-down bank which, on the N, E and S, has been reduced to no more than a scarp. On the W, where the approach is easiest, the bank is accompanied by an external ditch which measures up to 9.5m in breadth and 0.6m in depth. The entrance may have lain on the NW.
