Mott MacDonald were commissioned over the course of the21st March and 10-11th April 2018 to complete and archaeological desk-based assessment in advance of a Woodland Creation Scheme at Ewes Farm to the north of Langholm in Dumfries and Galloway.

The Desk based assessment and walkover survey was designed to create an historic environment baseline for the site, identifying potential archaeological features which may be impacted by the proposed planting.
