This enclosed settlement has been recorded as cropmarking on oblique photographs (RCAHMSAP 1976, 1984, 1994, 2003, 2005) on the NE facing slope of Doon Hill. It is circular on plan and measures about 30m in diameter within a ditch about 2m broad, with an entrance gap on the E. A roundhouse within the interior is visible as an oval dark mark measuring about 11m from E to W and about 14m transversely.
