This dun occupies the level top of a small islet in a shallow bay on the E coast of Luing. Roughly oval on plan, it measures 18m from NW to SE by 11.6m transversely within a grass-grown wall that has spread up to 3m in thickness on the NW and is 0.5m in height. The entrance is to the S and measures 2m in width, while a second and narrower opening to the NNW is secondary. The wall is being actively eroded at two sections along the NE side where a length of about 4m has fallen outwards. The interior is featureless.

Visited by HES Archaeological Survey (GF Geddes and D Bratt), 12 April 2022.

Surveyed by GNSS.
