An area of rig and furrow measuring about 130m from NE to SW by 90m transversely is evident on visualisations derived from Airborne Laser Scanning data at the N end of Dubh Leathad. A field boundary extending for 112m along the SW edge of the cultivation may be contemporary.

An area of cultivated ground is depicted here on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire, Sheet CXXIX, 1880).
