NO 2024 1732 An evaluation was undertaken, in June 2021, prior to the construction of an energy storage facility on land to the E of Jamesfield Organic Centre, between Newburgh and Abernethy. The site lies to the W of Carpow Roman Fortress. The evaluation revealed agricultural furrows and two undated, but probably agricultural, ditches. No other features or finds of archaeological interest were recorded.
