What are probably the remains of a quarry pit have been identified in gradiometer data captured within the field east of Kinneil House. An anomaly comprising a roughly oval area of negative magnetic response bordered by a narrow positive response has been interpreted as a quarry pit with overall dimensions of 30m by 10m. It has been recorded immediately south of a probable trackway (Canmore ID 371200) and may be connected to it.
