The greater part of the township depicted on the 1st edition OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1876, sheet xxviii) now lies within a conifer plantation. The remaining part lies in rough pasture and comprises an arc of head-dyke that disappears into forestry at either end and defines an area that contains a small building. This may be the westernmost of the unroofed buildings shown on the 1st edition OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1876, sheet xxviii) and measures 4.4m from ENE to WSW by 2.4m transversely within faced-rubble walls, 0.7m in thickness and up to 0.5m in height. It has an entrance on the SSE and an outshot 2.5m long on the WSW.
